Dressing Up the Dog for Christmas

Those of us who love our dogs like family members can dress them in special holiday outfits. We dress ourselves for that special Christmas celebration, we dress up our kids for the visit to Gramma's, so dressing up the dog just seems natural.

My Favorite Dog Clothes for Christmas has a great selection. Those darling holiday outfits just for the pooches are always fun to browse through. And there's plenty for all sized dogs.

Personally, my family includes a very large German Shepherd and a tiny Yorkie. Yes, I found Christmas outfits for both of them! This year, they aren't matching. I decided to do something different, but previous years they have been matching outfits. It is so cute to see that.

One friend dresses up her dogs just for the holiday pictures. I love getting her Christmas cards. They are usually funnier than just about any card I receive. But she has great fun picking out their new Christmas clothes every year. That I can understand.

Have fun yourself, pick out those great Christmas clothes for your dog.

The Beauty of Bells on the Christmas Tree

Don't you just love the look of bells for your Christmas tree? I know I do. Not only the look but also the charming sound of bells just seem to ring true for Christmas. Yes, the pun was intended!

In the movie "It's a Wonderful Life," we learn that every time a bell rings an angel gets his wings. What a delightful way to enjoy the gentle tingle of bells at Christmas time.

Whether you love the look of beautiful cut-glass bell ornaments or you like the whimsical world of the Peanuts Gang, you can find just about any kind of bell ornament for your Christmas tree.

I do enjoy seeing all my choices on one page and that helps me decide which ones I will pick out to add to my tree each year. Hopefully, you can find your favorite bell ornament for the Christmas tree, too.

Christmas Pillows for Festive Decor

Don't you just love Christmas decorating? I certainly do and I love the idea of spreading the decorations through out my house. Yes, I even decorate my bathrooms!

So several throw pillows with a Christmas scene or design on them are perfect to add to my couch, chairs, even as a throw pillow on my bed. Personally, I like to mix up my designs and Christmas decorations, but I have a sister who does each room in specific theme.

For her, Christmas pillows need to match her theme. How about reindeer Christmas pillows? Cute and fun just for the enjoyment of the holidays. Maybe it's a Santa Claus pillow that intrigues you. After all, he is the most popular symbol for Christmas.

But, maybe Christmas for you is about the birth of Christ. Then a religious themed Christmas pillow is for you.

If you prefer to decorate for this festive time without a full Christmas theme, how about snowflake throw pillows? Beautiful accents for your home for winter time.

Any theme you choose can be carried with a beautiful, whimsical or just plain fun Christmas throw pillow. Mix them up, if you're like me!

Unique Animal Jewelry As Great Gifts

Are you ready for some interesting animal jewelry to give as gifts this year? Maybe even a gift for yourself? Well, that's what fabulous favorites is all about.

There are nine in this collection, all focusing in on a different animal. But today we will only work with three of them. Some of the most unique as far as I'm concerned.

Moose Jewelry Fabulous Favorites has to be one of the most charming I've ever seen. You certainly don't need to live in the wilds of Alaska to appreciate the beauty and majesty of moose. You can show your enjoyment of these great animals with jewelry pieces.

Then again you can enjoy Eagle Jewelry. Another majestic creature that deserves our attention by wearing earrings, bracelets, necklaces all designed with the eagle motif.

Let us not forget the fun-loving little lizards either. Lizard Jewelry is definitely one of those great looks that may send a little shock through some people, but certainly create a bright and beautiful look in jewelry.

Use Halloween Posters for Decorating

What fun it is to decorate your home for Halloween! I know it is for me. Halloween is one of my favorite times to really make my home wild with great decorations. And posters make a really great way to spruce up the look.

If you want to go crazy with the spooky, ghoulish and gory, there are great posters to add to your walls. If you prefer more sweet and charming, you can find plenty of posters for that look, too. Not to mention the stuff in between.

Halloween Decorating Posters has tons of fun for Halloween. But, so does the Top 10 Posters for Halloween. See plenty of great choices to add to your decor.

When I'm planning a great Halloween party, I love to use posters to help decorate and set the mood. A zombie party will, of course, have posters of zombie's and the zombie invasion. But a ghostly party may include the friendlier ghost posters. It all depends on the theme of the party.

Either way, Halloween posters make great decoration options. Try them out yourself this year!

Baby Monsters for Halloween Babies

Don't you just love Halloween babies? They look so adorable in their costumes. And how about baby monsters for them? That sounds like the cutest of both worlds to me.

I found some of the cutest baby monster costumes for those little ones. All the fun kinds of costumes that are just perfect for little Halloween babies.

Of course, every baby turns out be a "monster" at some time or another. Just when Mommy wants to take a bubble bath, the little monster comes out! So you have to have t-shirts or onsies for those times when baby is being Mommy's Little Monster.

My granddaughter gets that title regularly. It's used affectionately, but sometimes, it's meant. So for her, Mommy's Little Monster t-shirt is just perfect.

Hm, wonder if my daughter is going to dress her little one as a baby monster this Halloween? Must remember to ask her.

In the meantime, Happy Halloween to all!

Fun and Funny Dog Halloween Costumes

For most dog lovers, dressing them up for Halloween is just part of the activity of the holiday. We consider our dogs to be part of the family, so as long as the rest of the family is getting into the act, why not include the dog?

That's what I think, anyway. My big beautiful Great Dane, who only recently passed away, used to enjoy all the attention of being dressed for Halloween. I would keep his costume pretty simple and he would keep it on. Then all the ooos and ahhs he would get would soon be followed with some much deserved petting and scratches behind his ears. That made it all worthwhile for him.

This year, I have 2 medium-sized and one tiny little pup to dress so I'm on the look out for those adorable costumes. And I found some great ones. At My Favorite Dog Costumes for Halloween, they are listed. Well, not every one, but the top of the list.

There are plenty of other great dog costumes out there, but these are the ones that work well for nearly every dog. That's what I like about it. And remember to be safe with your little or big canine companion and keep an eye on them this Halloween.

Decorate Your Bathroom for Halloween

If you are anything like me, you love Halloween and all the fun of that spooky, creepy and eerie holiday. Even to the point where I decorate my bathroom.

Some years, it's with loads of stuff, especially when I'm planning a big party. That's when I go all out for those fun Halloween bathroom decorations. But, even when I'm not planning a big party, I will still add some exciting stuff to my bathroom for the holiday.

One of my all time favorites is the toilet roll holder that screeches when used! It's funny and fun for guests. OK, for some the screech is a bit scary, but for most, it's just part of the fun of my Halloween decorations.

Don't forget a toilet seat cover, too. I love the creepy one with bloody hand come right out at you. But, consider the spider in the web, too. It's just perfect for Halloween fun.

As long as you like to decorate for Halloween, include your bathroom in there, too. You and your guests can have a great Halloween this year.

Little Girls and Princess Costumes

We all know little girls and princesses just seem to go together. Didn't we all want to be princesses when we were young? Well, OK, some of us still want to be princesses, but that's a different story.

Halloween is not too far off and we need to be considering what our little girls will dress as this year. I learned to plan ahead when I ordered a darling costume one year, and it turned out to be a shabby mess. If I had had the time, I would have returned it immediately and ordered something different.

Instead, I had to fix up that costume with my sewing skills and almost started from scratch. So this year, I am looking early. I want my little to be the cutest princess she can be. I did find some really cute and well-rated princess costumes that I'm considering.

If your little girl also wants to be a princess, you may find just the right costume for her at Princess Costumes for Girls. When I finally do decide on which costume, I'll be sure to let you know!

Time to Start Thinking Halloween Costumes with Vintage Dresses

Fine, we have the July 4th holiday behind us. The start of school will be coming quickly and following fast behind is Halloween. It's really the next great holiday we get to celebrate. You may think it's a little early for this particular holiday, but I enjoy working towards the next holiday early.

It's simple things, like starting to think of what costume I will wear this year. I like to take notes about good possibilities, then later I can narrow down my list. Right now, vintage dresses are big on my list. Turning myself into a movie star from the 1940's or 1950's would be a glamor way to go.

Even just a fun retro look, whether I look like a famous person or not, is high on my list, too. All the right factors need to come together to make this look great. The vintage dress starts it all off. Then the addition of the right wig or hat, the shoes, the handbag, even the makeup needs to work to create the total effect.

But the vintage look isn't just for Halloween. Think about a fun masked party you might have to close summer. Vintage dresses are usually cooler, with short sleeves, and make for a great way to show up for just about any kind of party.
