Birthdays do qualify a holidays in my family. All the kids think their own birthday should be a national holiday. So it's fun to serve them up with a great party, especially for those who have summer birthdays. That's where a pool party works great.

My own birthday is in the winter time, but I have two sisters and 2 daughters with summer birthdays. As a child, I was always jealous when my sisters got to have pool parties.
