For most dog lovers, dressing them up for Halloween is just part of the activity of the holiday. We consider our dogs to be part of the family, so as long as the rest of the family is getting into the act, why not include the dog?
That's what I think, anyway. My big beautiful Great Dane, who only recently passed away, used to enjoy all the attention of being dressed for Halloween. I would keep his costume pretty simple and he would keep it on. Then all the ooos and ahhs he would get would soon be followed with some much deserved petting and scratches behind his ears. That made it all worthwhile for him.
This year, I have 2 medium-sized and one tiny little pup to dress so I'm on the look out for those adorable costumes. And I found some great ones. At My Favorite Dog Costumes for Halloween, they are listed. Well, not every one, but the top of the list.
There are plenty of other great dog costumes out there, but these are the ones that work well for nearly every dog. That's what I like about it. And remember to be safe with your little or big canine companion and keep an eye on them this Halloween.

Couples Halloween Costume Ideas
Coming up with great Halloween costume ideas is always a bit tricky, but for couples it's even trickier! You have to decide whether you both want to go as the same character or matching in costume, go as two halves to a costume idea, or dress as complementing characters. Don't be afraid to trade costumes either. He go as the female side and she go as the male side.
Which ever way you decide, you still need costume ideas and that's where I have you covered. Ideas do abound, but here are two really fun ideas and getting to be popular enough that you can find all the right costumes or pieces to complete your look.
Couples Halloween Costumes: Spiderman and Spiderwoman covers the whole line up from complete costumes that can be worn by either man or woman to how to make up your own costumes.
Then give a look at Couples Halloween Costumes: Steampunk. It has lots of fun ideas for creating that Steampunk look, including a video tutorial on how to do the make up for a Steampunk woman.
If vintage or historical is in your thinking for your couples Halloween costume, then stay tuned to this channel. A new page with all the great effects for that look is coming up soon.

Decorate Your Bathroom for Halloween
If you are anything like me, you love Halloween and all the fun of that spooky, creepy and eerie holiday. Even to the point where I decorate my bathroom.
Some years, it's with loads of stuff, especially when I'm planning a big party. That's when I go all out for those fun Halloween bathroom decorations. But, even when I'm not planning a big party, I will still add some exciting stuff to my bathroom for the holiday.
One of my all time favorites is the toilet roll holder that screeches when used! It's funny and fun for guests. OK, for some the screech is a bit scary, but for most, it's just part of the fun of my Halloween decorations.
Don't forget a toilet seat cover, too. I love the creepy one with bloody hand come right out at you. But, consider the spider in the web, too. It's just perfect for Halloween fun.
As long as you like to decorate for Halloween, include your bathroom in there, too. You and your guests can have a great Halloween this year.

Little Girls and Princess Costumes
We all know little girls and princesses just seem to go together. Didn't we all want to be princesses when we were young? Well, OK, some of us still want to be princesses, but that's a different story.
Halloween is not too far off and we need to be considering what our little girls will dress as this year. I learned to plan ahead when I ordered a darling costume one year, and it turned out to be a shabby mess. If I had had the time, I would have returned it immediately and ordered something different.
Instead, I had to fix up that costume with my sewing skills and almost started from scratch. So this year, I am looking early. I want my little to be the cutest princess she can be. I did find some really cute and well-rated princess costumes that I'm considering.
If your little girl also wants to be a princess, you may find just the right costume for her at Princess Costumes for Girls. When I finally do decide on which costume, I'll be sure to let you know!

Time to Start Thinking Halloween Costumes with Vintage Dresses
Fine, we have the July 4th holiday behind us. The start of school will be coming quickly and following fast behind is Halloween. It's really the next great holiday we get to celebrate. You may think it's a little early for this particular holiday, but I enjoy working towards the next holiday early.
It's simple things, like starting to think of what costume I will wear this year. I like to take notes about good possibilities, then later I can narrow down my list. Right now, vintage dresses are big on my list. Turning myself into a movie star from the 1940's or 1950's would be a glamor way to go.
Even just a fun retro look, whether I look like a famous person or not, is high on my list, too. All the right factors need to come together to make this look great. The vintage dress starts it all off. Then the addition of the right wig or hat, the shoes, the handbag, even the makeup needs to work to create the total effect.
But the vintage look isn't just for Halloween. Think about a fun masked party you might have to close summer. Vintage dresses are usually cooler, with short sleeves, and make for a great way to show up for just about any kind of party.
