We are preparing for the Zombie invasion, which we know could happen at any time. In fact, Halloween party themes of the UnDead are popular these days. Maybe we should take a lesson from that and get prepared.
Zombie costumes are probably the easiest scary costume to do yourself. It's all about looking like you have been dead for many years. Now you have come back to life as the walking dead. So your look is that of moldy hair, white face and decaying clothing.
Make sure to add in a little blood on your dress or outfit to effect the violent end that you had. That creates your need to return to the world that took your life. Of course you have the fun of going after the living!
Take advantage of the fun by handing out signs that say: Zombies want brains, so you're safe. Just a little added silliness to promote your own fun. By the way, that particular little trick won me a Best Costume Award.
So get ready for some fun this Halloween and decorate yourself as one of the Walking Dead. You could come home from a party with an award yourself.
